Production Specialists process wafers of different technologies and support the manufacturing operations at either a wafer fab or assembly test site.

Assembly test sites:
Production Specialists perform specific AT semiconductor manufacturing functions in the production of semiconductor devices. They operate various equipment in performing functions such as test, tap and reel or mark and pack. This role is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of manual, automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product.

Minimum requirements:

  • Should not be under the age of 18.
  • Must fall under any of the following criteria:
    • 2-year undergrad in any technical course.
    • Completed secondary education (under new curriculum) under STEM track or ICT
    • Completed secondary education (under old curriculum) but with minimum of 3 years of experience in a semiconductor/automated manufacturing industry.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules including graveyard.

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills

Good to have experience and certification:

  • Issued a certificate of completion by TESDA in Integrated Circuit Assembly and Instrumentation and Control Servicing and Electronics Product Assembly and Servicing
