Texas Instruments is seeking a Layout Designer to join our team! Responsibilities include:
- The creation, verification and management of integrated circuit layouts including floorplanning, using precision analog layout techniques, supporting design engineer to reach precision, speed, area, reliability, power and ESD requirements.
- Working with packaging engineer to ensure reliable assembly capability
- Preparation of tape-out data, documentation and archival
- Using Cadence layout and verification tools
- Working well in a team environment and collaborating effectively with others
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum education: Associates degree in technical related field
- 0-2 years of experience in analog layout
- Working experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Assura LVS, DRC
- Familiarity with device physics, semiconductor components, analog circuits and their layout sensitivities
- Working knowledge of precision analog layout techniques including matching techniques, parasitics, and routing impedances
- Independent, structured and solution oriented working skills
- Unix data management skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
